In this shower remodel we replaced the shower drain, shower curb, repaired some of the wall studs, sprayed the walls with anti-bacterial spray, installed some missing insulation and framed a niche on the back wall. We also installed a new shower liner, moisture resistant wall boards and installed RedGard on the wall boards. We installed the wall/shower floor tiles and a 6 inch wide marble on top of the shower curb.  The tiles are form Lowes. We will be returning to install the shower door.

Renovating your shower can help transform your bathroom into a more functional and beautiful space. Here are some shower renovation tips to help guide you through the process:

Plan your design: Start by creating a design plan for your shower renovation. Consider factors such as the size of your space, your personal style, and the features you want to include.

Choose your materials: Select high-quality materials for your shower renovation, including tile, shower fixtures, and glass enclosures. Choose materials that will stand up to daily use and complement the look of your bathroom.

Focus on the showerhead: The showerhead is one of the most important features of your shower. Choose a showerhead that provides a comfortable and invigorating shower experience.

Upgrade your shower doors: If you're replacing your shower doors, consider installing frameless glass doors. These doors provide a sleek and modern look while also making your bathroom appear larger.

Add storage solutions: Incorporate storage solutions into your shower renovation, such as built-in shelving or corner caddies. This will help keep your shower organized and clutter-free.

Consider lighting: Lighting is an important aspect of any bathroom renovation. Consider adding a shower light or a dimmer switch to create a relaxing ambiance.

Hire a professional: While there are many DIY options for shower renovation, it's often best to hire a professional to ensure that the project is done correctly and to a high standard.

Plan for the unexpected: Unexpected issues may arise during a shower renovation, so make sure to plan for these by setting aside extra time and money in your budget.

Stay organized: Keep track of your renovation progress by creating a project timeline and checklist. This will help ensure that everything is completed on time and to your satisfaction.

Enjoy your new shower: Once your shower renovation is complete, take time to enjoy your new space. Take a relaxing shower and appreciate the transformation of your bathroom.

By following these shower renovation tips, you can create a beautiful and functional shower that meets your needs and enhances the value of your home.
